What is WIOA funding?
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a federal program that helps people pay for career training in high-demand fields — like dental assisting. If you qualify, it can cover tuition, books, and supplies. Atlanta Academy of Dental Assisting is an approved provider on Georgia’s official Eligible Training Provider List — so WIOA funding from any Georgia WorkSource board can be used here, wherever in the state you live. Metro Atlanta students already do: current AADA students have their tuition funded through CobbWorks, we’re a listed provider with WorkSource DeKalb, and we accept funding through WorkSource Atlanta.

Yes — enrollment requires a high school diploma or GED. Don’t have one yet? Georgia offers free and low-cost GED programs through TCSG adult education, and we’re happy to talk through your timeline.
